Vogue Arabia: Maldives Special Featuring Kuwait’s Haya Abdulsalam

Vogue Arabia January 2020 issue delivers exclusive shots of the Maldives featuring the leading lady of Kuwait, Haya Abdulsalam. The Kuwaiti was shot while indulging in an authentic Maldives getaway at Pullman Maldives Maamutaa Resort. Sponsored by Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) this was taken as a part of their endless destination marketing campaign.

Haya Abdulsalam, 36, has dominated small screen for more than 10 years both as an actor and a director.

 “ It’s the perfect trip for me; it’s very much like my personality, I like being in a quiet place where there’s no noise. I love swimming, I love animals, I love the beach, and I like getting a tan.”

Haya was shot wearing dresses by Marques’ Almeida, Givenchy and Mark Katrantzou for the shoot. Photographed by Gianluca Fontana, the Kuwaiti was also seen wearing kaftans by Dolce & Gabbana and Andrew Gn at Robinson’s with a feather headpiece by Giambattista Valli. Maldives was the perfect venue for the photos with the vibrant colors and white sandy beaches of the island nation.
