UAE visitors choose the Maldives for Eid 2022

Travel bookings from the UAE are up ahead of the long weekend, with local and international travel for the Eid al-Fitr holiday up by a whopping 195% so far in 2022 compared to a year ago.
International travel bookings from the UAE have increased, with 66% of UAE travelers choosing overseas destinations and 35% choosing staycations. In comparison, 68% of travelers booked staycations for the same holiday period in 2021.
The Maldives, UAE, Turkey, Mauritius, and Oman are the top five most-booked travel destinations with dnata Travel.

She also stated that 19-related travel regulations have eased a passenger’s journey, and that newly opened and accessible destinations, particularly Bali and Singapore, are gaining traction, while Thailand is rapidly climbing the Top 10 most-booked Eid al-Fitr destinations.
Customers are looking to extend their trips and book fuller holiday packages that include hotels, flights, transfers, in-destination experiences, insurance, and more, according to travel experts.
