In a circular released on 10th of this month, Ministry of Tourism announced the Tourism Job Fair 2019. Targeted for tourist resorts in the Maldives, the fair will be held from 27th to 29th September 2019 at Farukolhufushi.
We witnessed a great number of new openings this year with more to follow, making this fair a great opportunity for both the resorts and to the youths who are determined to build a career in the hospitality industry. The fair will provide a well-set platform for the stakeholders of the industry to find the best and most potential candidates for vacant jobs at their properties.
I want to say that we have the guarantee that the fair will provide over 500 job offers to the visitors. From which interviews for over 350 jobs will take place then and there at Farukolhufushi.
