Recipient of the Tree Top Hospital Nursing Scholarship

Hawwa Sana Rashad is one of the TTH Nursing Scholarship recipients. She is currently pursuing a Diploma in Nursing at Villa College and working as a Ward Clerk in our nursing department at Tree Top Hospital.
Her decision to pursue nursing stemmed from her time at TTH as a ward clerk. She was fascinated by how selfless and caring nurses were. Her favorite aspect of the nursing profession was how they treated everyone with the same kindness and love. She aspires to devote her life to providing patients with impartial care.
One of Hawwa Sana’s most notable accomplishments is receiving the TTH Nursing scholarship. This opportunity allows her to take a step closer to realizing her lifelong dream of becoming a nurse.
“As nurses, we have the opportunity to heal the heart, mind, soul, and body of our patients, their families, and ourselves,” Maya Angelou’s quote is embedded in Hawwa Sana’s belief and work ethic. Sana intends to continue learning and applying her skills after completing her studies in order to advance as a nurse and serve the community..
Nurses make up the majority of Tree Top Hospital’s workforce because they play an important role in the delivery of healthcare services. Seven students are currently enrolled in the Tree Top Hospital Nursing Scholarship program. Given the high demand for nurses and their importance in patient care, Tree Top Hospital recognizes the critical role of nurses in providing service excellence and works to empower local nurses through the provision of additional education and training.
