JW Marriot To Open Their Debut Maldives Resort in November
JW Marriot Maldives Resort & Spa is set to open on November 1st, 2019 as the very first resort in the Maldives by JW Marriot, the luxury brand of Marriot International. The American Hospitality Company is one of the leading companies in the world with their, 30 brand, 7,000+ properties in over 131 countries across the globe.
The 60 Villa luxury resort will be overlooked and managed by their well experienced General Manager Marc Gussing. All the villas at the resort are over 2,500 square feet, every villa featuring a private pool with an overall design that represents the traditional fishing boat of the Maldives, ‘Dhoni’. Marriot Maldives is positive that their incorporation of diverse culture of the Maldives and the countries natural beauty with the brands signature luxury feel will go perfectly.
Villas at the resort are categorized into four, The Duplex Beach Pool will which homes two bedrooms, a lounge and direct access to the pristine beach. The Duplex Overwater Pool Villas offer magical scenery of the Indian Ocean with its very own private pool and direct access to the lagoon. One-Bedroom Beach Villas with beach access and a choice of Overwater Pool Villas of sunset or sunrise views are also available for the guests planning their next vacation at the resort.
Featuring five restaurants, the resort offers experiencing a treetop restaurant with Thai dishes, Japanese Teppanyaki, poolside woodfired pizzas and local dishes. For the guests who are willing to stay in their Villa, the resort offers 24-hour in-villa dinning services and destination dining experiences. Marriot Maldives also feature three fully-serviced bars with 98 different types of rum, an exclusive wine cellar with over 300 labels and a chef’s garden.
The JW Marriott Maldives Resort & Spa joins the already operating four other Marriott properties in the Maldives, including The St. Regis Maldives Vommuli Resort, W Maldives, Sheraton Maldives Full Moon Resort & Spa, and The Westin Maldives Miriandhoo Resort.
