Hong Kong Airlines to Increase Flights to The Maldives Starting This December

Hong Kong Airlines are keen to increase the service to the Maldives from December 2019 onwards. The airline is planning to add a 4th flight weekly to Hong Kong – Male route. Not yet open for reservations, the newly added flight will be operated on every Saturday, starting from 07th December 2019.
Back in 2011, the airline started their first operations to the Maldives with charted services from Hong Kong to the Maldives. On January 16, 2018, the airline widened their services with scheduled flights to the Velana International Airport in the Maldives from Hong Kong International Airport. Three weekly flights on every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday provided much needed services for travelers. With Maldives witnessing of the most successful years in the country’s tourism history in terms of arrivals, this additional flight will be an additional boost for the upcoming year.
The airline’s Airbus A330-300 is used for the flights to the Maldives, providing suitable travel features and relaxing in-flight experiences.
