Drop by Buzz Café for Magical Evening Delights

For locals and tourists staying at Male Island or in Hulhumale, finding cozy little corners with great food does not happen that often. We bring you the Buzz Café, a recently opened dessert and snack bar at Hulhumale serving great food and fresh drinks during the evenings.
Our team set down with Aimy, the owner of the café to discuss and explore the café’s menu and the experience of dining at Buzz. The most buzzing thing at the café is the freshly served drinks, both hot and cold drinks are served ranging from coffees, teas to fresh mixes and mocktails.

Open from 1630 hours every evening Buzz Café will be open until midnight, serving homemade snacks and delicious desserts. It has been almost a month since they opened their doors and according to Aimy, they have served a vast number of happy customers including tourists who are staying at Hulhumale.
Local snacks served at the café are all homemade and will give you the authentic Maldivian tastes. Along with the number of desserts are served, some of them made by local bakers and pastry enthusiasts. One of these desserts include Sama’s Lemon Blueberry Cake, an authentic recipe only available at the Buzz Café.

Since the launching of local tourism back in 2010 Hulhumale has been a famed tourist destination, especially for budget travelers. With a high number of guest houses, the suburbs of the capital city welcome hundreds of tourists from all over the world every month. One of the main struggles of travelers is to experience culinary delights while staying in local islands. Small cafés like Buzz Café will be more than just a tea spot for these travelers with their authentic tastes and quality dishes.
