Aeroflot will soon return to the Maldives
Aeroflot Airlines has reinstated direct flights to the Maldives. Since May 13, Moscow-Malé flights SU 0320 have been announced on a daily basis.
The flights will be operated by an Airbus A-330. SU 0321, the return flight, is scheduled for May 14.
The price of tickets for direct flights to Male is currently unknown – they are not yet in the sales system – and tourists can fly to Male via Colombo beginning in April.
SriLankian Airlines operates the Colombo-Male flight. The cost of such a one way flight begins at 722 Euros.
Tour sales to the Maldives are rebounding confidently and brightly – the destination has re-established itself as a popular choice among wealthy Russians.
Experts in the travel industry believe that the introduction of direct flights will significantly increase demand for tours to this resort, lowering their prices.
